The Fourth Caribbean Environmental Forum & Exhibition (CEF-4) is the premier sustainable development and environment forum and exhibition in the Caribbean with a regional focus and international attention.
CEF-4 is a coming together of a wide and diverse cross section of professionals and other persons concerned with or involved in environmental and developmental issues.
CEF-4 will be held in collaboration with the 14th Annual Wider Caribbean Waste Management Conference (ReCaribe), and the 1st Caribbean Sustainable Energy Forum (CSEF).

The Caribbean Environmental Health Institute, Clean Islands International, Caribbean Renewable Energy Development Programme – German Agency for Technical Cooperation, Austrian Development Cooperation and other partners are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of the Fourth Caribbean Environmental Forum & Exhibition, the Fourteenth Annual Wider Caribbean Waste Management Conference (RECARIBE 2008), & the First Caribbean Sustainable Energy Forum by:
- decreasing the amount of solid waste produced by the event;
- minimizing energy and water consumption at the event;
- minimizing or off-setting harmful emissions resulting from vehicular transportation and energy consumption associated with the event;
- disposing of solid and liquid waste in an environmentally responsible manner; and
- reducing the use of harmful chemicals at the event.
