2002: Conducted a study on the Impact and Amelioration of Sediment and Agrochemical Pollution on Caribbean Coastal Waters in conjunction with the University of York/Marine Resources Assessment Group. Collected and analyzed tissue, water and sediment samples for pesticides and nutrients.

2001: Assessed dredge spoil material from the St. John's Harbour, Antigua

1998: Carried out a pesticide monitoring project for surface water and sediments to determine the effect of agriculture on Roseau River water quality, St. Lucia.

Ongoing: The Institute routinely monitors sewage discharges, drinking and recreational water, spring water and bottled water.
