World Food Day 2007
Each year on 16 October, the Food and Agriculture Organistion of the United Nationas celebrates World Food Day in commemoration of its founding on that day in 1945 at Quebec City, Canada. This year's theme is "The Right for Food".

World AIDS Day 2007
World AIDS Day was originally organised by UNAIDS, who chose the theme after consultation with other organisations. In 2005 UNAIDS handed over responsibility for World AIDS Day to an independent organisation known as The World AIDS Campaign (WAC). Building on last year's theme of accountability, the theme for World AIDS Campaign from 2007 and 2008 is “leadership”.
