CEHI's Document Centre

CEHI's Information Services activities are critical to the Institute's role as a premier source of technical and scientific information on environmental health issues in the Caribbean.

These activities aid in servicing the information requirements of Environmental Health Development Programmes throughout the region. These important functions include collecting, generating, analyzing, packaging and disseminating high quality EH information in various formats and media.

A wide range of regional stakeholders including policy-makers, business leaders, community activists, researchers and students benefit from the work of CEHI as a result. Technical advice and assistance are also offered in the development of Environmental Health Information Systems.

CEHI's Information Services functions also include a Documentation Centre - the leading environmental health library in the region. This facility receives and processes technical documents, reports, publications and data. The Centre is used both for internal research and as a resource for persons engaged in investigating environmental management issues in the Caribbean.
