As the premier environmental health institution in the Caribbean, CEHI attracts numerous requests from key regional and international development and technical agencies for collaboration in programme and project development.

Additionally, an increasing number of institutions, researchers and students make requests for placements and attachments to meet academic and professional requirements.

This, combined with CEHI's ongoing work in the area of technical assistance and training, has spawned an invaluable network of contacts.

Our programming functions also pay particular attention to project development and monitoring. A major role CEHI plays in this regard is in identifying specific aspects of environmental management that require attention and action, either in terms of technical cooperation activities, technical advice or collaborative arrangements.

In this regard, CEHI has worked with local, regional and international organizations, agencies and consultants, both in partnership and consultancy roles.

Though our activities in this area are regional in scope, equal emphasis is placed on national and community-based interventions.

CEHI also conducts an Associates Programme which focuses on providing training to strengthen the region's human resource base in environmental management.
