Since its inception, CEHI has provided
environmental health, environmental management and related training to
public sector employees and environmental professionals from across the
Caribbean Region. Training
has traditionally been provided as part of our work programme in the
areas of Waste management, Water Resources Management and Environmental
Monitoring. Additionally, training has been in response to specific
requests from Ministries and state agencies in CEHI Member States.
Our training programme has now expanded to serve private sector
needs.
The Institute has conducted national
and regional workshops and has carried out in-country training at
Ministry and state agency facilities. Additionally, one-on-one training
is provided through attachments, associate and internship programmes at
CEHI headquarters in St. Lucia. CEHI has also developed training manuals
to support workshop training and post-workshop needs.
