Tourism for the Caribbean
(formerly known as the Healthy
Hotels Project (CHH|P) is a joint project between The
Caribbean Epidemiology Centre (CAREC) and the Caribbean Alliance for
Sustainable Tourism (CAST).
Within this project, an Occupational Health and
Safety Standard is being developed, as one of the topics within the Environmental Health and Resource Conservation
Standards. This standard is designed to improve health and safety
conditions in the tourism industry and it will seek to make Worker's Health a
